Changes for Noble Outfitters in 2019

Updated Post 2/11/2019:

We’ve finally had a chance to see the new 2019 line from Noble Equestrian and as we said there are definitely changes. The volume and types of items are significantly reduced.

So what does this mean for Al-Bar Ranch as Noble Equestrian moves forward. The good news is you’ll still be able to find some of your and our favorite items such as the wave fork with interchangeable tines, the Equissential large and small totes in a variety of colors, the revolutionary 4-in-1 blanket, and all the latest options in Peddies. Finally the Balance riding tight is still available and should be around for the foreseeable future.

Some of the socks you may have become accustomed to, have changed (Best Dang boot sock is now titled World’s Best Boot Sock) and the Xtreme Soft sock is no longer available.

Unfortunately Muds have changed in name and design, and will only be available in women’s sizes. This presents a bit of a challenge for us as men’s muck style boots are an important piece to what we carry. It is extremely likely we will be looking at other options for muck style boots for both men and women in 2019.

Currently all of the men’s apparel and all western boots are discontinued within the Noble Equestrian line. Though there were inclinations from the sales person that some of the western items could be found at the farm and fleet stores carrying the Noble Outfitters line. Take that last bit with skepticism as the sales person was not privy to what the farm and fleet stores would carry specifically.

If you’re not familiar with Noble Outfitters, they are a brand focused on creating innovative products for horse and rider. They have produced the wave fork, Stay Cool MUDS, the 4-in-1 Guardsman blanket, as well as several other great products. As they have expanded they have come to realize they have stretched themselves in too many directions.

Over the next 12 months you’ll see a refocusing effort coming from Noble Outfitters along with a rebranding effort, changing Noble Outfitters to Noble Equestrian within most Western and English Tack Stores. Below is a snippet of the announcement from Noble Equestrian.

“We are excited to introduce the Noble Equestrian™ Brand. Noble Equestrian™ will continue to create innovative products for the horse and rider, while Noble Outfitters will focus on products for the farm, ranch, and work lifestyle. With these changes we will be better equipped to focus on the specific needs of equestrians.”

The new Noble Equestrian Logo takes into consideration that of it’s original Noble Outfitters logo but adds the horse to emphasize it’s focus on the equestrian world over Farm and Fleet.

The Noble Outfitters name will still be available but only found within “Farm and Fleet” stores such as Rural King & Tractor Supply. Unfortunately that means we will no longer have access some items we once did. As well you’ll find some products renamed and options for other significantly paired down.

While we don’t expect any major issues there are likely to be a few hiccups along the way. We don’t know exactly what all the changes will include but we at least have a basic road map for the upcoming year.

You will begin noticing the new Noble Equestrian logo appear on socks, gloves, and totes come Spring of 2019, while apparel will be changing come the Fall of 2019. Again whether the future will include seasonal items, we just do not know yet.

Although there is not a ton of information here regarding which products will and won’t be available we wanted to give you all a heads up as to what is coming with Noble in 2019. We’d love to hear your comments, thoughts, and concerns. We will answer the questions we can and pass along those we may not be able too answer. Thank you.
