Faith Training Center Free Horse Training Seminar

If you’re looking for something to do on Friday May 6th you should check out Faith Training Center’s Free Horse Training Seminar titled “The Well Trained Horse.”

Horse Trainer Hannah Barden will share useful information that will enhance any horse owner’s skill. Hannah’s focus at the seminar will be on how to train your horse basic ground manners and de-spooking techniques. You wont want to miss this important building block toward making your horse safe and dependable.

The start time for the seminar is 6:00 p.m. and you can stop by at 5:30 p.m. for a free meal. Make sure to bring a lawn chair for seating and you can even enter to win one month free board.

Seating will be limited so it is important that you RSVP! Go to www.facebook/faithtrainingcenter and “Like” their page. Leave them a message and they’ll reserve a seat for you! (Rain date: May 13th)

September Rainbow Dressage Clinic

September Rainbow, Inc. will be hosting a couple of clinic this year with Dressage Clinician Maryal Barnett.

Here are the dates that we’ve seen so far April 16 and 17, August 13 and 14, and October 1 and 2.

Horseman’s Clinic

If you’re itching to get out and start training early this year for upcoming shows then you’ll want to check out Kenneth Ecker’s Horseman’s Clinic that is taking place at Al-Bar Ranch on April 30th form 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This will be a great chance to get yourself and your horse tuned up for the spring. Who knows maybe you’ll even learn some new methods to become the combination team you always thought you could be.

Kenneth Ecker, who has 50 years of experience training and showing horses in a multitude of events, will be discussing and teaching throughout the day’s clinic. Here’s a quick list of things we know Kenneth will be talking about and working on:

  • Showmanship/Halter
  • Horsemanship (Lead Changes)
  • Reining (Turn Arounds, Sliding Stops)
  • Pleasure
  • Barrel Racing
  • Poles
  • English Equitation

There is a small fee for the clinic: (Registration will take place from 8:30-9:00 am. The morning of the event.)

  • $35 for individual training with your horse
  • $25 for observation of the days activities
